Tim Acri
Principled. Proven. Progressive.

Tim Acri has been a fixture in the City of Covington for almost 30 years. He first moved to NKY in 1994 after serving in the US Navy and completing college. In 1997, he purchased a home in Covington where he still lives today with his wife and three amazing dogs.

His passion for local government runs through his veins as his father was a City Commissioner and eventually became Mayor of Steelton, PA, which is where Tim was raised.

Tim served in the US Navy from 1987-1993 and then had a break in service. He went back into the Navy Reserves in June 2001 and proudly served until October 2007. Tim started his Naval career as an enlisted Damage Controlman, then cross-rating to the Navy Seabees, where he was a Steelworker second class. He then applied for a Direct Commission and became a Civil Engineer Corps Officer, where he served until he was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant. During his time in the Navy, Tim deployed multiple times overseas serving with distinction during the Persian Gulf War, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He also has a 30+ year career in the environmental and construction industry. He currently is a Vice President for O'Rourke Wrecking Company in Cincinnati, where he specializes in environmental remediation, emergency response, construction and demolition services.

He is also the Executive Director of the Covington Street Hockey League (CSHL), serves on the Devou Park Advisory Committee, is a Kentucky Colonel and is affectionately known as "Mr. Begonia" and the CFO for Scarlet Begonia's Flower Truck (Owned and Operated by his amazing wife, Kara).

In the role he treasures most of all, Tim is a loving husband and a very proud Dad to his three children Marisol (24), Trajan (22) and Ryley (21).

Tim truly looks forward to sharing his ideas for the community and meeting everyone out on the campaign trail as he works to earn your trust and vote during the general election in November. Please spread the word about Tim to everyone you know. You'll be glad you did.
